The premiere of ThinkTV’s documentary of Bing Davis, a local artist and Dayton native, was held at the newly built Roger Glass Center for Arts at the University of Dayton. The event was a mix of friends and family of Bing, contributors to the film, artists of all crafts, PBS donors, and the local Dayton community. I wanted to capture the diversity of body and talent that this event radiated. This project was special to me because it was the first time my name appeared in the credits of a big screen. I assisted as a gaffer to help light an interview in Bing Davis’s studio, as well as a production assistant in capturing reenactments. The video above was a recap of the grand premiere at the Roger Glass Center.
